The Moldovan Defense Minister promises to Russians a "green corridor" if they want to withdraw troops from Transnistria. The statement was made in an interview with the news portal, during his official visit to Bucharest.

"I promise to our partners from the Russian Federation that if they really want to leave, I can start negotiations with the Ukrainian friends to create a green corridor under the supervision of the OSCE and the UN. It would be a gesture that would prove their good intentions towards Moldova, because at this moment we can see a lot of unfriendly and provocative gestures against us," said Salaru.

Recently, Sergey Gubarev, the Special Mission Ambassador of the Russian Federation, said during a visit to Chisinau, that the withdrawal of Russian troops from Transnistria can not be done because of the war in Ukraine.
